Happy Tuesday!!
I think that we had some disappointed children today that were so excited for the snow that was supposed to come this weekend.
We
have been working really hard with learning how to draw a circle.
Today we drew a large, medium and small circle.......can you guess what
we made? A snowman!!! I was so proud of how well everyone did drawing
their circles. We drew eyes, carrot noses and a perfect little smile.
Some even drew stick arms!
Our story today was "The
Biggest Snowman Ever" By Steven Kroll. The mayor of Mouseville
announced that there was going to be a town snowman contest. "Whoever
makes the biggest snowman will win a prize!" All of the mice were
excited! Of course all of the mice went straight to work building their
snowmen. One mouse built a princess, while another built a snow
martian. There were two mice named Clayton and Desmond, working hard in
the field building their snowman. They rolled, and rolled their
snowballs stacking them up on each other. When Clayton and Desmond
walked around together looking at the other snowmen, they realized that
all the snowmen were the same size! How were they going to win this
contest? Desmond and Clayton decided to work together. Ask your child
what happened when they decided to work as a team.
Matthew was our snack leader today. He brought crispy rice rolls and milk. Thank you, Matthew!!
Thursday is our Birthday and Cooking Day. It is also BLUE Day!!! I can't wait to see all of the blue!!
