Happy Tuesday!
You can tell by the excitement in the
air, that the kids are ready for Thanksgiving and a break from school! I
have heard lots of stories about Grandparents coming to visit, or trips
that you are taking.
The weather was cooperating, and
the playground was calling our names! It was so nice to run around and
get some fresh air! We ran around, rode the bikes, played in the house
and played some basketball. I don't think anyone wanted to come back
in!
Our story today was "'Twas the Night before
Thanksgiving" By Dav Pilkey. The kids at school take a field trip to
the farm, and meet farmer Mack Nugget. While meeting the farmer, they
see turkeys running about the farm. One of the children also notices an
axe hanging in the barn. When the farmer tells the children what the
axe is for, they decide that they have to save the turkeys!! The
children smuggle the turkeys home, and invite them as guests for
Thanksgiving. Ask your child what was served instead of turkey.
Carson was our snack leader today. He brought cuties and milk. Thank you, Carson!
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! See you next week!!
